Program Details

· Format: 15-20 page research paper submitted to a college-level journal for publication plus a formal written evaluation form from your mentor with a certificate of completion

· Timing: 3-4 months allocated for research and another 1-4 months for publication

· Structure: 15 virtual, one-on-one meetings with a mentor with an additional 8-10 hours per week of independent work

· Additional Support: 4 meetings with a publication specialist to identy the target publication, 4 meetings with a writing coach for feedback on structure/flow, and a dedicated program manager overseeing the entire process

Designed for talented students interested in working 1-on-1 with a researcher from a top university to produce an independent project. This will help students stand out in the admissions process while building relationships with PhD researchers in various STEM, Humanities and Social Sciences, or even have the ability to customize their own research topic.

Process

· Application: Fill out an online application

· Interview: Shortlisted students will be scheduled for an interview

· Mentor Match: Selected students will be matched with a mentor in their area of research interest

For your reference, no academically rigorous research program can or should promise publication. Our selected students will have support for 3 rounds of 9 submissions to selective college-level journals after successful completion of our research program.
